Yua Mikami Now
Since shifting her career path last August, Yua Mikami has gone through a lot of changes. Not only has she focused on building her personal brand and business ventures, but she’s also become more open and honest when talking about her past. For example, she revealed how she was once “trapped” into leaving her idol group before she became famous. She also openly admitted to having been harassed to the point of lasting trauma in the past.

Yua Mikami’s Haunting Story
Specifically, during a livestream when asked about challenges she’s faced, she shared a lot of personal feelings. Having worked in a sensitive industry, she’s used to some criticism. But what stood out was her story about a photographer who harassed her so badly it still haunts her today. She agreed to do an artistic photo shoot, but the photographer’s requests sometimes crossed the line beyond art and made her uncomfortable. Because of that, she ended up refusing to continue the shoot.

Yua Mikami emphasized that this was one of the rare moments where she felt pushed beyond her limits, and it’s a memory she still carries today. Otherwise, her career has been relatively smooth with few serious issues. Right now, the only thing that really bothers her is the flood of anti-fans who keep attacking and criticizing her past, even though she has retired and moved on to other activities.
