Once a Famous Parody Music Star
Many people know the parody music legend Cu Toi (real name Nguyen Tien Dung), a 90s-born guy who rose to fame with his parody of the song “Con Nguoi Ta” (a twist on “Vo Nguoi Ta”). He also created a bunch of hilarious parody videos on YouTube like “Vi Toi Con E” (Because I’m Still Single), “Nghe That Rat Lay” (Sounds Really Funny), “Toi Cho A Hoa Cu Toi” (Poor A Hoa Cu Toi), “Con Nha Nguoi Ta” (Other People’s Kids), and “Tha La Danh Thi Rot” (Better to Fail the Exam)…

Cu Toi’s parody clips always made people laugh out loud thanks to his expressions and creativity. At one point, he ranked highest on the list of 10 most unexpectedly famous social media personalities in 2015.

Cu Toi’s Current Situation
However, he suddenly shifted to business and went off the radar. Things didn’t go well. From making hundreds of millions VND a month, Cu Toi now reveals his income is only about 2 million VND. He says he’s currently living with and relying on his mom for meals.

His current work involves creating music on the computer, working with beats, and writing rap. Lately, he’s been more active on social media, but fans mostly call out for the “old Cu Toi.” Looking back, the YouTuber admits he’s “past his prime,” but sees it as a chance to explore new fields. He doesn’t want to return to his old image anymore.

In a recent media interview, he said he’s still single because “I’m having conflicts with myself and need to learn to love myself before loving someone else. Still, I believe in a happy family in the future. Being single now is just temporary.”
