Interviewer: Hi Duy Anh, thanks for joining us today.
As manager of GameHome, could you tell us a bit about the brand?
Duy Anh: GameHome currently has three locations in Hanoi. The first branch opened at 19 Ho Tung Mau in 2019, but we felt that wasn’t enough to meet gamers’ needs. So in October 2023, we added two more branches on Lang and Linh Nam streets. Our leadership is considering opening even more spots because demand is huge.
Interviewer: What makes GameHome stand out?
Duy Anh: What I really want gamers to know is the meaning behind the name GameHome. We started as esports fans ourselves, and our leadership wanted to create a cybercafe where players feel right at home. We want everyone who visits to feel free, comfortable, and happy like they’re in their own house.
Interviewer: Can you share more about GameHome’s facilities?
Duy Anh: We have various setups tailored to different games. Our Lang branch has 180 gaming PCs and is the largest of our three Hanoi locations.
Interviewer: GameHome is known for strong community engagement and quick updates on new games. Is this a key focus?
Duy Anh: Absolutely. One of our strengths is listening to our customers. We’ve created fanpages and community groups where gamers can share feedback and requests. Thanks to that, we’re always quick to update new releases like Black Myth: Wukong and host big esports events and viewing parties.
Interviewer: How does fierce competition in the industry affect GameHome?
Duy Anh: Honestly, competition is inevitable in business and especially fierce in the cybercafe scene. But GameHome’s goal in Vietnam isn’t to compete directly with other brands. We want to create a new kind of space where gamers feel at home. Our leadership aims to offer an alternative choice, not for gamers to compare, but to help esports grow together.
I’m proud to represent GameHome and confident we’ll keep expanding esports opportunities and our brand nationwide.
