Recently, a group of players in China rented out an entire luxury shopping mall in Shanghai just to throw a birthday party for a beloved character.
How Big Was This Genshin Impact Investment?
This group chose a building with a massive mall atrium located in one of China’s priciest cities. The four-story building was fully rented and redesigned with a Furina theme, the Hydro Archon from Genshin Impact.
According to the lore, Furina’s birthday is October 13. This lavish setup wasn’t just a hangout spot but a full-on celebration for the Hydro Archon’s birthday. The exterior was decked out with huge banners and giant LED screens showing images and videos of Furina for passersby to admire.
The level of detail shows just how dedicated Furina fans and the wider Genshin Impact community really are. This isn’t the first time players have gone all out either. Recently, they even adopted and named a whale to celebrate Tartaglia’s birthday.
