Shy Guy with No Dating Experience Joins Matchmaking Show
H.H.K, a 29-year-old from Ben Tre now living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, appeared on a matchmaking show. He was shy and quiet.

Introducing himself, K described himself as introverted but caring. So far, he has never been in a relationship and hasn’t even held a girl’s hand. He honestly explained that he was too focused on studying before, and after graduating, working mostly with men left him no chance to meet someone.
Joining the show, K hoped to find an outgoing girlfriend to “lift him up,” someone down-to-earth, friendly, and caring. He promised that if he met the right girl, he’d open his heart and even think about marriage.
The girl is the same age and from the same hometown as K.
The girl, P.T.T.N, is energetic, hardworking, eager to learn, and caring. She admitted her flaw is a bit of a temper. She’s had two relationships, the most recent ending two years ago due to distance. She wanted a kind, mature, humble, and confident boyfriend.
K was somewhat drawn to her gentle nature but was too shy to express himself well. With help from the host, he managed to compliment her, but he still couldn’t take the lead in conversation. Most of the time, she was the one talking. This made N hesitate. She declined to date him and didn’t press the button after the host’s three-second countdown.

Still, she was very thoughtful. At the end, N sent a message to the shy guy who had never loved before: “Thank you for choosing me. I think you’re a good and strong person, but I didn’t press because I believe there’s someone better suited for you.” This touched K deeply.
